I have experience working at various stages of the production and post production process for shows with a variety of different budgets & team sizes. I have a BA in Fine Art from the the University of Leeds, providing inspiration to the creative workflow when editing and filming. I edit using Premiere Pro supported by my Premiere Pro ACE qualification.
I have worked on landmark drama shows, documentaries, factual entertainment programmes and digital originals. I see this variety as a positive: with each job I do, I bring alternative ways of thinking and looking at stories, knowing how to enhance them for digital/broadcast. All my jobs have been connected to my main passion - communicating peoples stories and experiences via engaging television and creative storytelling. I am especially keen to prioritise natural history and how it shapes our future, a passion ignited by my work with 4Earth.
I am confident in my ability to interpret a brief and enhance the vision of my clients. This has been shown through my work with Studio Lambert, Vice, Love Productions, Minnow Films, Blast Films etc.. . I also have plenty of experience managing an edit apprentice alongside providing tutoring roles.
In addition to shooting and editing, I have experience filming on second cam and BTS, DIT and data wrangling on location, have a good knowledge of sound engineering and have strong knowledge of colour grading on DaVinci Resolve.
I love being out in nature, in my spare time I love rock climbing, through hiking and I'm looking at taking a solo paragliding course this year. I am not afraid of weather conditions and love being involved in manual work too - so being on an outdoorsy set would be ideal.
