Colourist using Resolve Studio. Budding professional beyond the finger painting stage. Otherwise described as Jack of all trades (outside of industry) with a social science and engineering background. Refocusing again in film industry post limited part time due to chronic injury.

Fragmented, primarily providing incidental tech support to Mac based wedding and sport editors 1990s-present in NZ, beginning with analogue correction for vhs duplication back in early 1980s. Toronto -freelance locations security working for Helie agency 2001. 94 shows-series, movie of the week and major- On and off set -primarily locations security- but also assisted in menial ancillary union roles -with union permission - Iin lighting, sound, and sparky when union guys were unavailable,

Other Skills & Experience

Colour grading - primarily non industry, + relevant editing/conform skills. Editing (edits, FCP studio 7, Resolve — very linear approach, not where my heart is at)Once did minor edits and colour correction on 1” and 3/4” Sony equipment back in the 1980s.
