A 63yo male with a mixed Heritage of Maori,Welsh, Indian,English Geneology. Born & bred in Auckland.

Worked in many industries ie. Corbans Winery,Retail Shop Assistant, Rubbish Truck Operator, Wood Turner, Council Parks & Reservations Scrub Control, Meat Deliveries to Butcher Shops in Akld city, Truck Driver(class 5), Builders Labourer(Domestic & Commercial), Laundry Company Service Salesman/ Route Manager, Embalmer/ Funeral Director, Horse Wrangler / Stock Drover, Steel Rigging on outdoor Concert Stages, Lx & Audio Rigging for Concerts, Forklift, EWP Scissor & Boomlift operator.Hence I would class myself as ” A Jack Of All Trades & A Master Of Some “.
A father of 4 Daughters & 1 Son. Grandfather of 14 Grandchildren.

I started riding on horses from the age of 8 cos our Granduncle had Work & Recreation horses so operating a Horse & Sled or Horse & Plow were everyday chores.

As a 10 yr old taking the horse and sled with a 44 gallon drum up to the creek & back to the house to fill the house water tank. Ride the horse 12km to the beach gather seafood & ride home. I also love to ride Motorcycles both On & Off Road. More on road than off-road of late.

Have tried a little onset acting for TV Commercials & found it interesting & exciting but being Behind the scenes is more my thing. I’m keen to try anything.

Industry Experience

Assisting with security & relocation of Production, Tech & Unit vehicles for Hercules & The Tommy Knockers was my introduction to the film industry. Then did Swing Driving for Power Rangers. Next for me was 2nd Unit Lx Rigging for LOTR Trilogy. After 2nd Unit finished filming Helms Deep in the Hutt Valley some of us joined the Main Unit Lx Rigging crew & remained there for the Duration of the Trilogy. During that time I also did the occasional stint with the main unit Grips to help out when needed. Since then I have been a Craft crew member helping with Unit duties both on & off set as well as Swing Driving for Screentime Productions on a few film sets. The number of Productions I’ve worked so far is around 10 or 12 & for the majority of them I’ve always been either in the Lighting or the Transport Departments. Keen to have a go at anything.
