Kia Ora
My name is Sasha, I’ve been circling our sun for 31 years now and for a large chunk of those years i’ve been involved in some kind of creative outlet. My background in traditional art lead me to training in 2D & 3D animation but it wasn’t just enough to draw/create my own characters I wanted to see them in real life, walking around – Which is why my next step, was training in Make up & Special effects for Film and productions. While I was training, I lived and worked in Auckland for five years and received some great opportunities while there.
I’m currently working as a Art Coordinator for Creative Huntly, where we offer art workshops, events and resources to our community. A diverse job where no day is the same.
